Nice store. Most of the staff are really great to interact with. The lines usually flow really well which makes great for quick visits.... In and out.
This store is huge and the items well maintained and placed. The only improvement needed is more employees to help. Although, the employees here are friendly, courteous, and usually well informed.
Once I bought propane and waited outside for over 15 minutes for someone to come and unlock the cage. Finally had to go back inside and remind them.
I am an experienced fish keeper in the hobby and truly most of the experience of keeping fish comes from common sense. On that note I got into fish keeping because of well Walmart. I used to go look at the fish every time my parents went there. But today I was in the store with a few friends and I wanted to look at the fish so I walked on over to the fish section, well like I said most of the keeping of fish is common sense like if the fish is floating dead you need to pull it from the tank and if the fish is growing fungus on it you need to cure it. Well I was shocked when I looked in the fancy goldfish tank and saw 3 dead goldfish and 1 that was in such horrible condition I can't even begin to explain and if the employees at Walmart don't take care of the fish well they won't be seeing me back there!
All types of daily needs stuff available on reasonable prices. If some care is taken for hygiene of the wash rooms it will great for 5* rating
I once tried to call the store, which rang to customer service, to find out if they had an item in stock. It rang forever, so I got in my car and drove there while the phone was ringing. Walked into the store, and to the customer service counter to see the light flashing on their phone, but nobody paying attention. Phone rang for 16 minutes without anyone ever answering. And when I went to a manager to let them know about it (and I did so in a friendly manner), she was very rude. Seriously! I wish I could afford to not shop here.
Additionally, both of the mens urinals were literally overflowing onto the floors. And it's absolutely normal to have at least 2 of the 4 toilets out of order. About 30% of the time, the items I'm trying to buy have no prices on them, so I have to hunt down a scanner.
SLOW SLOW SLOW! I come here a lot because it is so close to me, but I usually go at 6am to avoid crowds. Any other time is ridiculously slow to check out. Today, only 4 of the 23 checkout lanes were open at 5:00pm - peak time (not counting self checkout). Lines wrapped so far out the aisles that nobody could get through. Cashiers don't care at all. Slowly scanning items and chatting with customers. They never look back at the line to notice that there are 14 carts backed up and call for more help. Probably because there is no more help. Crazy.
I understand that the elderly need jobs too, which I'm all for, but if your job necessitates speedy customer service, then a cashier at Walmart during peak hours is not the job for you. These older ladies are probably doing the best they can, but customers are busy and have other things to do besides wait in line for 20 minutes. I blame the management and the Walmart company itself for this.
