I received a speeding ticket from Mason County during a business trip. There is no fine or payment amount on the ticket, so I expected to be mailed a bill. Instead I was mailed a letter of forfeiture and an additional $50 on my $210 ticket. Beyond that- I cannot pay it online now that it's considered late. Late isn't 30 days, late is considered after the court date.
Horrible... After Christmas... I have til Tuesday until my license is suspended and I'm trying to call before I go up there... No one is answering. Office closed on a Monday after holidays are over.. Mason is so unprofessional
Never seen a clerk's office take such a long time to collect $$$. People on their cell phones instead of doing their job! Bottom line, don't get a ticket in this shity city!
This system is designed to screw people over and they make you jump through hoops to find out what you owe, when its due, and how to pay it.

A completely corrupt entity! They extort you for monies that doesn't relate to your costs. They need to be audited and cited for white collar crimes perhaps even under the RICO laws..
