This location used to be decent and paid reasonable prices for books you attempt to sell. However, they now offers pennies on the dollar (literally) for books. It seriously isn't worth the gas or time you spend to get there, so don't bother trying to sell them your books. As a result of the above, it seems like the quality of their inventory has also slipped and is very poor. Just sell your used books at a garage sale or give them away and buy your used books online. Your wallet will thank you for it! Heck, you would be better off donating them to Goodwill and taking the tax write-off.
Been going here for years, since the remodel, place has went down hill. Prices have increased, and selling has became a nightmare. They now make you have to have your receipts to the things your selling. I showed them digital receipt, and they still wouldn't accept items, was told a manger had to think about it, and to come back another day when they're on staff. Very inconvenient, and they make you feel like a criminal, which is funny, because they give you $2 for a $20 item, and sell it back for $15. Now that is criminal, hence there nick name, "Half Price Crooks". They've made thousands off me, and other customers, and show no loyalty to their long time customers. I hope they go out of business.
I love this place... I could spend hours here! The only reason they lost a star is because I wish they had a better selection of current titles, but there's always online shopping for that, I suppose!
Unfriendly employees, can never find what you need. Everything is way over priced considering most of their books are from the 70s and 80s. If you need something current don't waste your time here, they won't have it. Don't waste your time trying to sell to this location, they will give you some stupid accuse as to why they can't give you a decent price for your books and other possessions. Finally, their extremely slow about getting new product out on the floor, they still have things on the shelf they had when they opened years ago.
Went in to sell books, they will pay you for the books they want but they keep the rest of your books which they then donate (and I assume get a tax deduction for) You are not allowed to keep the books they don't want.
