Our family had a great time. We were surprised by the quality of the food. The staff was very friendly as well. We went on a week night, so it was pretty empty and probably easier to have a great time. One word of caution, you will spend probably 2-300 more dollars above and beyond your room price in meals, arcade games, and merchandise. Just plan to spend more than just your room.
Wonderful Christmas/winter getaway spot. Very kid-friendly, a number of different activities and variety for the kids. Very friendly and helpful staff. The indoor water park was our main reason for going, and it was great! Well-staffed too, lifeguards everywhere, gave a very safe feeling. The pizza in the shop just outside the water park entrance was pretty tasty, to top it off.
We have been to Great Wolf several times but this week was perfect. It was very slow because we went mid week and took the kids out of school. Krista, the front desk person have an us an upgrade to the grizzly bear room and saved us 74.00. we had 8 guests and a reservation originally for the loft room. The water park was very clean and just ideal. The room was very clean as well as the bathrooms. We ate breakfast at the loose moose buffet which was just delicious and dinner in the Ginger bread house which we booked through Yelp. The food and service were delicious. We did the arcade at night and had so much fun. Some of the games had issues printing out tickets but it was an easy fix and there was always someone around. We will definitely come back this time of year. My favorite was the lobby decorations. It was breathtaking.
Fun, welcoming, and clean. Security personnel promptly attended to rowdy hotel guests staying up way past hotel curfew rules (good for all the families with young children). This greatly enhanced our rest and comfort. A good night's sleep is a HUGE factor in fun or lack thereof the next day. I also liked the attentiveness and friendliness of the front desk staff and lifeguards. Even in the arcade, a young gentleman impressed this mom with his regard for the disappointment of my son and I in losing "paw points" (= money) in a machine, and quickly rectified the situation. This was great place to stay. Fun was had by every one. It's a great place to take children. Many activities to keep them entertained. We spent 2 days . The only negative is that the rooms need to be dusted. The staff goes above and beyond to make are stay enjoyable.
